The homepage lighting follows your device's time. To display current weather, it automatically queries wttr.in, which receives your IP address and estimates an approximate locality. It does not request GPS access or the browser's geolocation permission.

The site does not activate analytics tools or marketing cookies. It does not provide a preferences screen for those categories.

5. Retention Periods

The weather cache is valid for 45 minutes. It contains the visual condition, approximate locality, rounded temperature and expiry; it does not store the full response, your IP address or coordinates. You can delete it by clearing site data in your browser. You can end an administrative session using its access controls.

The general contact form retains Formspree as an HTML fallback when the JavaScript controller does not run. A failed Firebase submission does not automatically switch to Formspree. All of them act as technology providers.

The homepage directly queries the public wttr.in service for approximate weather based on IP. The HTTPS request omits credentials and referrer. This provider receives the IP address as part of the connection; OpsLaundry does not store it with the weather data.
