The experience behind OpsLaundry
OpsLaundry grew out of years working inside industrial laundries: with machinery, production and maintenance, where the linen has to go out every day.
Learning by working on machines
Our background spans operations, maintenance, technical management, service work for manufacturers and direct support for laundries in different countries. Every installation teaches something: an ageing machine, a poorly adjusted line or a fault that only appears with certain loads.
We have worked with washers, dryers, ironers, feeders, folders, tunnel washers, variable-frequency drives and controls. That experience helps us know where to look and what to check; it does not mean knowing every model by heart.
Understand before intervening
We listen to what is happening, study the machine and compare its behaviour with measurements, parameters and documentation. When information is missing, we look for it. If the cause is still unclear, we keep investigating before giving an answer.
Sometimes a repair is needed. Other times, the work is restoring a setting, changing a program, finding a lost manual or understanding why two machines work well separately but poorly together. We start with the problem, even when it does not fit a service category.
Working with you
You know your production, your people and what happens during a shift. We bring outside technical experience to examine problems that may have been around so long they have come to seem normal.
We prefer direct contact and proposing only the work needed. If an adjustment is enough, there is no need to sell a rebuild. If a machine can still work well, replacement is not our starting point. We can help with a fault, support commissioning or provide ongoing technical assistance.
